Wardrobe Paperwork

The wardrobe paperwork featured here reflects snippets of Rio’s paperwork during the University of Idaho’s Ride the Cyclone in 2026. This production was done in The Forge, a blackbox theater with two corner “voms” disconnected from the rest of the backstage area. This proved to be a challenge for tracking individual costume pieces, as the actors are on stage the entire show and only pop offstage to change outfits for each number.

Several of the costume changes happened onstage, which required communication with the director and choreographer, as well as the actors. Many times, costume pieces would have to be pocketed or put in a prop to be transported to the other side of the ‘backstage’ that was disconnected from everyone else.
